I believe that brokers can feel my enthusiasm to help them with their enquiries. I like to establish early on if the enquiry is one that fits our criteria or not, so as not to waste anyone’s time. When I’m not helping brokers, you will usually find me playing cricket!
I focus on being as transparent as possible with brokers, giving straightforward, honest answers with every interaction. I also feel that putting the customer at the heart of every conversation is imperative. When I’m not on the phone to brokers, I’m usually spending time with my growing family.
Coming from an experienced background within internal business development, but brand new to the finance sector, I still believe the philosophy is the same. It’s about building good relationships through true and genuine conversations, giving reliable, accurate information and keeping expectations realistic. I like to keep busy inside and outside of work; I’m a keen rugby fan and a member of Bracknell Ladies RFU.
I think brokers want someone on the end of the phone who is transparent, reliable and resourceful, and that’s what I aim to be. It’s about meeting expectations and ensuring we get the most effective outcome. I recently bought my first house and it was helpful to experience being on the other side of the fence.
I establish good relationships with brokers firstly by listening and providing accurate information on our criteria. Even if something is not quite the norm, I do not discount this and will always look to assist them by referring this up the chain if necessary. More importantly I always bring my personality through, I’m sure all my brokers could quite easily identify me in a crowded room from my laugh.
I establish and maintain a good relationship with brokers by really listening to them so that when I respond, I’m giving them the solution they need, or being upfront and honest if it’s a case we can’t help with. I like to build a rapport with brokers, normally by talking about my sausage dog Billy.
Being an specialist consultant for over 7 years, I understand the challenges advisors have when liaising with different lenders. Trust and transparency are the most important thing to me when it comes to helping my brokers. When I’m not liaising with my brokers, I’m either on the football pitch or playing badminton.
I strongly believe the key to building and maintaining productive relationships with my brokers is being open and honest. I come with bags of motivation and thrive on getting the best outcome for my accounts and their customers. My personal challenge is to try and exceed expectations as often as possible. When I’m not at my desk, you’re most likely to catch me at the airport boarding a flight to my next adventure exploring new places and cultures - Bahrain is next on the list!
I joined Foundation Home Loans in 2012 and have worked in a variety of roles since then. I'm a people person and I treat all brokers in the way I would want to be treated myself. We have the same goal and the key to success is to work as a team to make sure the end customer has a five star service. When I’m not working, I dedicate all of my time to my wife and our two beautiful daughters.
I started my career in financial services as an adviser, which has helped me in my current role as I understand how hard it is to gain and keep a client’s trust. I have held various positions in different financial institutions, including RBS, GMAC RFC and Aldermore, before joining the team at foundation in 2017. I originally trained as a buyer for the fashion industry and my passion for fashion has never left me, just ask anyone who knows me well!

I joined Foundation Home Loans in March 2019 after spending the last 20 years in a number of roles in the finance industry including business development roles with Capital Home Loans and Fleet Mortgages, an ideal foundation for my role at Foundation Home Loans. I am also a portfolio landlord and property developer so can understand the requirements of both brokers and their clients. To relax I walk the dog and am a huge F1 fan and classic car enthusiast.
I joined Foundation Home Loans in 2018, having been in the mortgage industry for a long time in a variety of roles. I have worked in the Financial Industry for around 20 years, much of that time as a Mortgage Adviser. More recently, before joining Foundation Home Loans I worked as a Sales Manager for Bank of Ireland and a Key Account Manager for Virgin Money. Away from work I love spending time with my family. We are keen rugby fans and regularly watch the Bristol Bears.
After 20 years in mainstream banking and being involved in the implementation of chip cards and electronic cash to the UK, I joined the world of specialist lending. I was Key Account Manager and National Distribution Manager at Fleet Mortgages and Kensington, before joining Foundation Home Loans, where I am fortunate to lead the Sales team. I am a bit of a rugby fanatic and also play the drums… both are great ways to unwind from the day-to-day pleasures of the mortgage industry.
I’ve worked in financial services for 18 years and joined Foundation Home Loans in late 2018. I manage a team of Internal BDMs and a Sales Support team. We deal with registrations, new case enquiries and ensuring brokers understand our products and proposition. When I’m not at work, I am flying back and forth to Belfast, where I’m from, visiting friends and family.
I have been in the industry for over 16 years with my career starting out at Abbey (Santander). Before joining Foundation Home Loans in 2018, I worked for a number of lenders, from large banks and building societies, to start ups and new fin-tech innovators. I was once upon a time a professional ice hockey player which I blame for my forgetfulness. Now I find myself being a family man where my exercise comes from cheering on my children from the sideline.
I have worked in sales for 32 years, with 28 of those spent in the financial services industry. I joined Foundation Home Loans in 2018 and manage a panel of networks and key mortgage clubs. My previous position was Head of Sales at The Mortgage Lender and before that I held various positions at Barclays, Nationwide and Birmingham Midshires. I love travelling, yoga and being massaged in my spare time! Listening to talk sport is great while I am travelling around the country with work.
