Are there any eligibility criteria for claiming the £1,000 cashback?
- The cashback is available for both buy-to-let and residential mortgages using the EPC Saver product.
- The property must be over 10 years old. The EPC Plus service is unavailable for properties constructed within the last 10 years, as these already have a valid Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) EPC.
- Borrowers must complete a mortgage with Foundation using an EPC Saver product.
- The free EPC inspection and subsequent cashback can be claimed up to three months after mortgage completion.
How does the property evaluation in the EPC+ Service differ from a standard EPC?
- Beyond the standard EPC rating, the EPC+ Service offers a detailed report with valuable insights into the property's full potential for energy efficiency.
- The report suggests a maximum achievable EPC rating for the property and outlines specific steps.

How does my client access it?
On completion of the mortgage, the customer will be supplied with a link to Vibrant’s microsite and online form on which to request their free EPC Plus to start the process. The offer will be available to the customer for a period of 3 months from the date of completion of the mortgage with Foundation. Customers who do not have internet access can grant access to a 3rd party or mortgage intermediary to complete this online form page on their behalf.
