Foundation Updates

Making it easier to progress your residential cases to offer

23 Dec 2020

Following your feedback, we have made improvements to our broker portal to enable us to get to underwriting your residential cases sooner.

We’ve introduced two simple groups of ‘requirements’:

  • Affordability
  • Deposit (purchase only)

Following the initial application assessment an underwriter will update you on a list of their requirements.  Once these requirements have been uploaded on the portal your case will be referred back to an underwriter for further review.  Subject to all other outstanding requirements being received prior to or at the same time, the underwriter’s next steps are to instruct the valuation and proceed your case to offer.

Please note your case will only be assessed by an underwriter when the two groups of requirements above have been satisfied. To help you with meeting these requirements please refer to the residential document submission guide.

If you’ve placed a case with us before, you’ll notice a newly updated residential summary page, the page will now display requirements in the following groups:

  • Intermediary (required from you)
  • Affordability
  • Deposit (purchase only)
  • Fees
  • Other requirements (third party)

A new notes page has also been introduced, which will now appear under summary page on the menu, and will contain any case notes.
